Java Platform, Enterprise Edition is the latest application framework from the Java foundation for developing distributed, multi-tiered applications. Using a moduler, object orientated approach to software architecture and deployment, J2EE, as it is more widely known, is the platform of choice for corporations and government bodies across the world.
